Heavy in the best way

5/5. This square travertine coffee table is gloriously heavy in the best way. The weight gives it a grounded, gallery feel, zero wobble even with rambunctious kids and a leaping dog. The hidden base makes it look like it’s floating, which is a cool contrast to how solid it is. It took two delivery guys and some careful placement, but once it’s down, it’s not going anywhere, and that permanence feels luxurious.

Perfectly packed and super sturdy

I held my breath unboxing this square travertine coffee table with the hidden base, worried about chips or cracks. Not a mark. The packaging was fortress-level, and weeks later it still looks pristine despite a rambunctious dog, sliding trays, and one clumsy move across the living room. Solid, not a one-person job

Unboxed it with a friend, the travertine top is hefty so two sets of hands helped. Instructions were clear, the hidden base lined up after a bit of fiddling with one stubborn bolt. Start to finish was about 30 minutes. Easy overall, just not a true one-person job, so 4 out of 5.

Delivery pricing from $29 (Home Accents), $139 (Statement Furniture) to $239 (Grand Scale).

We aim to deliver orders to the United States within 20 business days of your purchase date. As a European design house, we manage biweekly transatlantic shipments using our premium courier partners (FedEx & UPS) to ensure a seamless arrival at your home.

Please note that to ensure maximum protection during transit, your piece will be professionally packed in a custom wooden crate and fully insured. Delivery is Curbside, meaning the crate will be unloaded at the end of your driveway or curb.

*Home Accents (0–10kg) include stone trays. Statement Furniture (10–200kg) includes side and console tables. Grand Scale (200kg+) includes dining tables, coffee tables, and large console tables.

Sourcing Note:

While the majority of our stock is held in our European logistics center (Bucharest), custom pieces may be shipped directly from our atelier in Türkiye to expedite your delivery. To organize a return, please contact us at hello@travertable.com within 100 days of receipt with your order number and reason for return.

Please note that for standard returns (change of mind), you are responsible for the actual third-party freight cost to return the item to our warehouse, plus a 10% restocking fee. These amounts will be deducted from your total refund.

Your item must be in its original condition and packed securely in the original wooden crate.

We make the first cut only after you approve the unique veining and character of the raw stone. When crafting is complete, we provide a detailed video study of your finished piece. Your asset is securely crated and leaves our atelier only upon your final authorization. This transparent journey grants you total control and weaves a deeply personal story into your bespoke furniture.
