Our Story
Travertable is a European design atelier with a Mediterranean soul. We exist to bridge the distance between the ancient mountains of Anatolia and the modern home. Our brand was born from a desire to honor the earth and support the hands that shape it. By uniting generations of quarrying expertise with contemporary design we have created a specialized studio that connects the world’s finest stone directly with interiors across the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States.
The Atelier
Our production is rooted in the regions of Afyonkarahisar and Denizli which are known as the historic heart of the stone world. We chose to build our workshop here for a simple reason. We wanted to be neighbors with the quarries. This proximity allows us to walk the yards and physically touch the raw blocks. We hand select the most expressive veins of Calacatta Viola or Classic Travertine immediately after extraction to ensure only the finest material enters our studio.
Design Philosophy
We believe the most beautiful furniture comes from the shortest distance between the earth and the artisan. Because we stand at the source we bypass the long and complex global supply chain that most retailers rely on. This allows us to offer honest luxury without the noise of middlemen. We celebrate the natural variations of solid stone and ensure that every piece is substantial, authentic, and built to be a permanent fixture in your life.
