Assembly was just placing the top on the base with felt pads and it sits level. Packaging was careful with thick foam and corner protectors, though one box had a scuff. Delivery arrived a day later than the original window but the driver helped get it inside. For value for money, it is not cheap, but it looks more expensive than it cost.

Two notes: travertine is porous, so I sealed it before use, and the fluting can collect dust. Swiffer solves it. Added felt pads to level on my slightly uneven floor. Overall, statement piece.
